The Ocean’s Ultimate Predators… The Sharks!

Take a drive up the coast to Long Beach to visit the Aquarium of the Pacific. About 90 minutes away from San Diego, venture through the hands on exhibits and come face to face with sharks!   Looking through a viewing window into the large shark exhibit, guests will be able to come nose-to-nose with sand tiger, sandbar, nurse, whitetip, and many other striking sharks. Daily presentations and feedings will showcase the power and beauty of these remarkable predators. Zebra, bamboo, and epaulette sharks will be featured in the three shallow pools, where guests will be able to reach in and touch these gentle and graceful animals.

The Aquarium of the Pacific is one of the largest aquariums in the United States. Its more than 500 species fill 19 major habitats and 32 focus exhibits and take visitors on a journey throughout the Pacific Ocean’s three regions: Southern California/Baja, the Tropical Pacific, and the Northern Pacific.
