Danau Golf Club UKM
which is located within the (UKM) campus in Bangi is one of my favourite golf courses where I regularly play, partly due to its affiliation with my home club .
But there is another reason why I like to play at Danau. The buggy is allowed on the fairways, which is a big plus for not-so-fit golfer like me since Danau golf course has comparatively wide fairways compared to other courses I have played at.
Danau Golf Club is an 18 holes, 6357m, par 72 golf course with the traditional cowgrass fairways but its greens are quite a class above rest. The bermuda tifdwarf surface is maintained by the golf expert team of Saujana Scape & Greens, which is well known for their high quality maintenance of golf courses and greens.
The 167m par 3 third hole (pictured above) is easily one of the most looked forward hole for any player. The breath-taking view from the sharply elevated green is a sight to behold to begin with.
However don’t be fooled by the friendly-looking green below as the scenic view can also be a distraction to any decent golfers due to its high elevation as well as the occasional wind which can easily land your ball into any of three bunkers guarding the green.
It should be easy to score a par for this par 3 for any competent golfer provided you are not easily dictracted by the awesome picturisque view this hole has to offer

Guest : RM 54 weekdays, RM84 weekend for 18 holes

Members : RM 60 per unit for 18 holes
