Take A Snow Day in North Phoenix
Even though a white Christmas is only a dream in Phoenix, Desert Ridge Marketplace and KPKX Radio 98.7 The Peak truck in tons of snow for their third annual Snow Day.
A family-friendly event where kids can play in 25 tons of powder, it’s a festive way to celebrate the holidays. Free to guests you can enter to win prizes and receive merchant giveaways while listening to a local teen band, Jinx the Tragedy.
It’s also a chance to give back by bringing a new toy, food or clothing item to benefit Operation Santa Claus, a non-profit founded by Sanderson car dealerships to help:
- St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance,
- Tim and Willy’s Kid’s FUN-Dation
- The Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center and
- Choose to Help
With each accepted donation you will be entered to win a brand new vehicle from Sanderson Ford Lincoln Mercury Volvo.
It’s fun to watch the kid’s faces, some who have never seen snow. Their eyes get big as saucers while they romp around and experience what other kids around the country take for granted.
