Santa Claus is Skiing to Town
Every Christmas Eve for the past 24 years, Santa has visited Washington DC…on water skis.
The Water Skiing Santa will be back again this year water skiing on the Potomac River at National Harbor. He’ll be joined by his knee boarding reindeer, wave skipping elves, the jet skiing Grinch who Stole Christmas and the always fun Frosty the Snowman in his inflatable dinghy.
Santa and Mrs. Claus, and all of Santa’s special friends and helpers will be available after the show for photos. Join in on the fun and sing-along with the Caroling Candy Cane Kids who will be singing holiday favorites.
The best vantage point for the waterskiing show this year is from the Plaza area at National Harbor next to the Wilson Bridge in Maryland.

Temperatures of the river’s water in December is usually in the 40s, but it’s suspected that Santa will be dressed appropriately since he’s used to the colder weather of the North Pole.
This is probably the most unique holiday show of the Christmas season and sure to delight the kids.
