Here’s how it works:  Sign up and answer some interesting questions formulated by The Bordeaux MatchMaking Team, Marine and Laetitia, regarding your favorite wines, food, and your unique personality.  No, this isn’t a test but your answers will determine the best Bordeaux match for your palate and shape your evening of tasting.  Once your profile is confirmed, you’ll receive an e-mail with all the event details and be asked to reconfirm since the gathering is limited to 150 guests.

Upon arrival, expect to be greeted by a hostess, wine expert, and dozens of other people sharing the same taste in wine.  If you are new in town and want to meet people with common interests, then this personalized small group wine tasting is the perfect match.

Here’s a little Bordeaux cheat sheet:  Although its history stretches back thousands of years, its story starts with you enjoying the moment whether at home on a picnic table or in a posh white table cloth bistro.  A connoisseur’s palate isn’t required for full enjoyment but it helps to know the basics:

  • Bordeaux is a wine-producing region of France
  • There are over 60 appellations (vinegrowing areas) in Bordeaux
  • All colors of wine, reds, whites, and rosés are produced in Bordeaux
  • Bordeaux result from distinct combinations of climate, soil, and grape varieties that produce unique wines crafted at one of 8,000 Chateaux

Wine tasting and hors d’oeuvre from 7 to 9pm followed by a party animated by renowned DJs until 12am.
