Skating By the Sea
Want to try something different in Southern California while still enjoying the delightful weather. The Hotel Del Coronado offers a unique experience – outdoor ice-skating overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The beautiful Windsor Lawn is transformed into a 10,000 square foot ice rink, just steps away from the ocean. Until December 18, three hour skating sessions from 2pm-5pm, 6pm–9pm, with special matinee skating sessions from 11am-1pm on weekends and holidays. From December 19-January 3, 2010, all three skating sessions will be offered daily. The cost for the three-hour session is $20* for adults and $15* for kids (ages 10 years and under). Skate rental is $5 per person. A portion of the skating proceeds will benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation of San Diego.
While you are visiting the Hotel del Coronado peak inside the lobby and visit the beautiful Christmas tree.
* The matinee session is only 2-hour session. Must pay
for the entire regardless of time spent skating.

WOW I am so excited to head down to Coronado and check this out! Looks so fabulous! Can’t believe I have lived here 21 years and never gone ice skating down in Coronado!
