Haight Street Remains Independent
Haight street is the street to explore more than once while in . With so much to see it’s easy to spend hours looking at all the unique shops that have yet to go corporate. This street remains for independent owners, bringing flare to this city. Whether one wants good food, tattoos, dreads, trendy clothes or shoes, Haight Street is the place to go.
From Market St. take MUNI transportation and jump on the 6 bus or 71. The buses take you directly to the Haight. NO need to wonder if you will miss the stop because the scene is very different and most get off going in that direction. Central and Haight is where it all begins.
