CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIRS

The Christmas Craft Fair season opens this weekend at a variety of locations in the Lower Mainland.

It will  be difficult to choose which of the 300 studios to visit during the East End Culture Crawl which runs Friday Nov 20 to Sunday  Nov 23.  You can visit the artists’ studios located in over 50 buildings all around the  area bounded by Main St. to Commercial Drive, from First Ave  north to the waterfront in Vancouver’s East End.  Browse around the studios and see the creations of painters, jewellers, sculptors, writers, photogrpahers and glassblowers,  from emerging to well-known.  Check the website for a map of the area and a list of participating artists.

It’s the 26th annual Britannia Christmas Craft Fair this weekend too, at Britannia Secondary School, 1001 Cotton Drive (Gyms A&V) Friday Nov 20: 3 – 8 pm, Sat. Nov 21 – 10 am – 5 pm; Sunday Nov 22 10 am – 5 pm.  $2. entrance (under 12 free)  britanniacraftfair@live.ca 604-713-8273
