Lavish: The Four Seasons Viennese Dessert Buffet

What better way to  celebrate the end of the evening than indulging in the Viennese Dessert Buffet at the Four Seasons Hotel (200 Boylston St., Boston, 617-351-2053) (Map). Every Friday and Saturday  from 9 PM-midnight, diners can indulge in a stunning array of nearly 40  desserts- including fruit tarts, creme brulee,  cupcakes, chocolate pots de creme, miniature cheesecake, bread pudding,  a selection of ice cream and toppings and filled- to -order crepes.  Many of the creations are seasonally inspired- this month several selections feature pumpkin or cranberries in keeping with fall.CAR_211_original-thumb

The Viennese Dessert Buffet  is held in the Bristol Lounge- a handsome room- casually elegant with lots of overstuffed sofas and  plush club chairs . During the weekend a live jazz trio play softly in the background. And as is the hallmark  of the Four Seasons, you will be treated like an honored guest- the wait staff will take care of your every need and thoroughly spoil you.

The  Viennese Dessert Buffet  costs $24 per person- a swoon eliciting experience that is certainly worth every dime and calorie!
