Friends and Family Deal at Delano
The Delano – trendy, luxurious and downright pricey – is a favorite landmark in South Beach. One, that just a few weeks ago was written up in the Miami Herald for not budging their prices despite its occupancy dropping from 83% last year to only 62% this year. With an average room rate of $538/night, what can you expect? But, a few weeks have passed and I guess they can only deal with this many empty rooms for so long, as I just learned that they will be offering a Friends & Family rate to guests until December 28, 2009.

WOWZA! Those are amazingly cheap prices for those properties. Makes me wish I had a vacation planned for the area.
