Festivals of Speed Takes Off in Miami

Taking advantage of Miami’s bay and oceanfront locations and conditions, the Festivals of Speed will kick off with a number of events and lavish displays over two days from November 14 – 15.  The name tells most of the story: this two-day exhibition of speed and high-powered toys on land and water is a showcase for some of the leading international brand names  of the luxe life.

First on the agenda of events is a Yacht Hop Reception at the Epic Hotel on November 14 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.  Arriving guests will be met by a valet and guided over to a glittering display of yachts. On hand for your refreshment will be exciting cocktails and decadent desserts while you explore the line-up of sleek vessels.  Also on hand will be a display of rare and exotic cars, unique motorcycles and exclusive luxury lifestyle companies will also be present.

This will be followed up nearby with a Rooftop reception at the Viceroy Miami  that takes place on November 14 from 8:00 – 11:00 p.m.   The open-air rooftop area here consists of a 2000 square-foot deck with the longest infinity pool in Florida and some of the most breathtaking vistas of Miami’s skyline and Bay.  For the occasion, the setting will feature private seating areas, a spacious outdoor lounge, themed food stations featuring enticing culinary creations, vibrant cocktails, fine cigars, smooth jazz, and luxury product displays.  Afterwards, Club 50 awaits with a rooftop lounge set Fifty stories above downtown Miami.  Guests can enjoy cocktails inside or out while taking in the incredible views.

 The final event will be the Motorsports Collection and luxury lifestyle display on  November 15,  from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p. m. at Bay Front Park,  Far more than an automotive display, attendees view this event as a weekend “retreat” where they can relax and get to experience luxury products on a more intimate level in a relaxed setting.   Guests will be treated to a gathering of the world’s finest automobiles, motorcycles and watercraft. Vehicles are placed for display on the perfectly manicured grounds of Bay Front Park.  Also on-site:  cafes serving their finest culinary offerings, VIP cafes, smooth jazz in the gardens, wine tastings, cigar smokes, luxury lifestyle displays, fashion shows and more.  Highlighting the automotive display will be special collection of Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Aston-Martins.   Drivers including Tony Kanaan and others will be onsite at the receptions at this main event on Sunday
