AAA Announces 5-Diamond Hotels & Restaurants in Seattle
In the list of recently announced 2010 AAA 5-Diamond hotels and restaurants, the Seattle area scored a paltry two listings:
The Seattle Fairmont Olympic Hotel () celebrates its 26th consecutive year on the 5-Diamond list, and Woodinville’s Herbfarm Restaurant () celebrates its 8th consecutive year.
The 5-Diamond award is awarded to the best of the best in the hospitality industry,and only about a quarter of one per cent of hotels and restaurants receive the award. Congratulations are definitely in order to the Fairmont and the Herbfarm!
With so many new restaurants and hotel emerging on the Seattle scene, I don’t think it will be long before we see a few more Seattle listings. Any ideas who we might see on the list next year?
