Calligraphy Classes at Paper Emporium

Getting past my constant attachment to my laptop and using email as my main means of communication, nothing beats getting a hand-written card in the mail. The personal touch added to it brings a heartfelt connection between the duo. Calligraphy – the art of beautiful handwriting. Some may say it is a lost art form, but I revel in the beauty of it. I took my first calligraphy class in the late-90′s. I was eager to learn the history behind it, along with the various fonts – Gothic, Italic, Uncial and more. I would spend hours perfecting my every stroke to create a picture perfect letterform. It was beautiful – the entire process.
