Michael Jackson’s This Is It
For anyone out there who is a fan of Michael Jackson, the new movie that is coming out this week is behind the scenes footage of Michael as he developed and rehearsed for his sold-out concerts he was supposed to perform for this summer in . The film has over a hundred never before seen footage during the two months he rehearsed for his upcoming shows. The Michael Jackson Estate has funded the movie to share with the world the last few months of Michael Jackson’s life.
I know I am not that old and haven’t been around for his whole career, but Michael Jackson Bad was the first tape I ever owned and I listened to it on my Walkman all the time when I was only 6 years old. My younger brother got Michael Jackson Thriller and I used to steal his tape all of the time, which he cried when I did. No matter what I heard in the media about MJ didn’t bother me, because he was just a very talented performer that came out with great music. Basically what I am trying to say is that I am a fan of MJ.
The footage in the movie that came out just two days ago shows all candid footage of Michael as he created the material for his upcoming shows, and as he rehearsed his singing and dancing to perfect his final show. Kenney Ortega, Michael’s creative partner and director of his show has teamed up with the making up the movie and directed the entire film. Michael Jackson’s This Is It is only showing for two weeks, so if you are a fan of the man, get out there and see it.
