Cook with Masters at the DC Cooking Show

Join celebrity chefs Giada De Lorentiis, Paula Dean, Tyler Florence and others at the annual Metropolitan Cooking & Entertainment Show in Washington, DC

the 4th annual two-day food expo includes seminars, cooking instructions, celebrity chef book signings, food and wine seminars, plus over 200 food and kitchen-related product vendors will be on hand.   Or visit the beer, wine & spirits tasting area to sample all kinds of beverages.

Schedule to attend a food and wine pairing seminar complete with several courses and lots of wine.

If you have children that love to cook, take them to one of the 6 age-specific kid’s cooking cooking classes ($30.00) or other free kid’s activities.

Dates and Times - Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009 – 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009 – 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Tickets – Advanced tickets – Adults -$20.00 and children 4-12 – $10.00 , kids under 4 are free.  At the door prices – Adults – $25.00, kids – $13.00. Tickets are available online or by phone at 888-695-0888.

Interactive cooking sessions – $45.00 to $74.50, Book signings $15.00. Food and wine events – $65.00 – $150.00.  All require advance tickets. Exhibit admission is included with many optional events.

Nearest Metro Subway Station – Mt. Vernon Square – 7th St. – Convention Center – Yellow and Green lines.

Parking – Metered street parking is available but may be difficult near the Convention Center, try the public lots and garages within walking distance.
