Buy Tickets for Pacific Northwest Ballet’s Nutcracker

The holidays are creeping ever closer, and hard as it may be to accept, it’s time to start making some of those special plans – the ones that won’t be an option if you wait too much longer.  One of those events that you need to plan for early is the Pacific Northwest Ballet’s staging of the Nutcracker.

The classic, much-loved holiday story is the magical world of a little girl’s dream.  It explores the theme of good triumphing evil, and of a beautiful woman finding her prince.  In a constant blurring of fantasy and reality, and set to a beautiful Tchaikovsky score, the wonderfully costumed characters entice us along on a wonderfully magical journey and we are never the same.

With a company made up entirely of dancers from PNB’s ballet corps, along with some students from the PNB School, this production is in its 26th season and promises to be better than ever.

And don’t forget the ginormous Mouse King!

Location:  McCaw Hall, 321 Mercer Street, on the north side of the Seattle Center Campus (map).

Dates & Times:  November 27th – December 30th, 2009.  Various times and dates, so check the schedule of Nutcracker performances for specific information.

Parking:  Available at the Mercer Garage, directly across the street, or at various lots around the area.
