ING Amsterdam Marathon
Sorry, you are too late to sign up for the Marathon but there is plenty of time to find a place along the route. The best spot to cheer the runners is in Vondelpark. They start their run at the at Stadionplein 20 (tram 24) and wind their way through centre including Vondelpark, and finish at the Stadium.
Last year’s race was won by Paul Kirou from Kenia in 2.07.51. Second was Ethiopean Chala Dechase, and Lydia Cheromei won the women’s race in 2.25.27.
Start your training now, and you can take part in next year’s race.
