Pirates Invade Disney Cruise Ships

It appears that the Disney Cruise Ships have been invaded by pirates! Fortunately, these pirates don’t say “Arrrrr”, but “Trick or Treat!”.  Pirates, as well as friendly ghosts, goblins and princesses have been seen scurrying across the deck of the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder as Halloween is celebrated aboard  Disney Cruises.800px-DisneyMagicdepartsCanaveral

On voyages throughout the month of October,  on one special day, the ships have been celebrating Halloween at Sea with lots of fun events, special decorations, a dance party on deck and a spooky menu.  Here are some of the spooktacular things:

  • Trick or Treat Trail – while exploring multiple decks,  young guests can visit several treat stations to receive candy
  • Party on Deck – located at Goofy Pool, guests gather for a fun-filled costume party where favorite Disney characters will join the party dressed in their Halloween finery.  Adults on board can enjoy a ghoulish costume party and contest in the entertainment district
  • Holiday themed movies are shown both in the 3-D theater and open air on deck
  • Yummy ghoulish delights are prepared by the chefs including spider cakes and Witch’s brew

So if you are planning a cruise during October, keep this in mind and don’t forget to pack your broomstick!!
