Cruising From Miami
As a new cruise blogger to PlanetEye I would like to introduce myself. My name is Ryan Wahlstrom.
My first introduction to cruise came in 1995, when I founded and ran the Caribbean Carriage Company, the first and only horse drawn carriage touring service for cruise ship visitors in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Today I follow the cruise industry on my website and have an iPhone app for cruisers at .
I love the worry free, all-inclusive, multiple destination experience that cruising offers. Yet there is another root cause for my love of cruising. My wife Irma works onboard Carnival as a shipboard I/S Manager. She has sailed the Destiny, Liberty, Dream, Imagination and Inspiration.

During the day I am a Business Development Manager at the Herald as well as an online professor of statistics for University of Phoenix.
I look forward to building relationships with PlanetEye readers and cruising fans. I’ll be posting about cruises and cruise port destinations in the Caribbean. All your cruise questions are welcomed.

Welcome to PlanetEye, Ryan. You are joining a wonderful group of travel bloggers.
Although I’m a cruise lover, it’s been awhile since I’ve been on one, so I’m looking forward to learning what’s new and fun in the industry.
Hi Welcome to PlanetEve. A fun place to write and read about travels.
Welcome Ryan! I’m pretty new, too, so you are not alone
Hi Ryan, I am Jenni, the Disney writer for Planeteye. I have to confess that I have never been on a cruise, though we have talked about how wonderful it would be to take the family. Any suggestion for spring break?
Welcome aboard Ryan.
Perhaps you’ll write about the cruise ship out of Baltimore one day, as it’s the closest crusie port to Washingtton, DC.
Looking forward to reading your posts.
Thank you all, some great ideas!
