Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts Expanding to India
Later this year, Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts is opening their first property in India in Kolkata and, so far, it looks fabulous! The deluxe hotel will be offering a nice variety of amenities designed to meet the needs of their diverse travelers.

Rooms
While I do enjoy exploring my surroundings while I’m traveling, I still want to feel comfortable in my room. I can understand being minimalist but I don’t want to feel cramped into a small space after traveling for hours to get to an exotic destination.
I’m impressed, therefore, to learn that each of the 147 guest rooms will be at least 32m² in size. Details about the furnishings is not available at this time but I’m sure it will be great!
Dining
The Swissôtel Kolkata will feature three restaurants, including a speciality eatery and an open-air restaurant, a lobby bar and a poolside bar.
Amenities and Facilities
The hotel will be part of City Centre-New Town which will contain a shopping mall with shops, restaurants and a multiplex cinema.
Guests can also take advantage of the conference rooms, fitness center and rooftop swimming pool. I can only imagine how beautiful that would be at sunset!

No offense to you or whatsoever….this is fantastically sugar coated biast feedback-the hotel could have been first explored and then talked about. Misleading for the guests…
Rajarhat of Calcutta will come up not before the next 10 years and the city of Kolkata is an hours drive from this hotel! This hotel is a transit airport hotel but yes, we welcome Swissotel in the suburbs of Calcutta with open arms
