Disney Vacation Club’s New Treehouse Living
Disney Vacation Club’s newest home-away-from-home accomodations at Walt Disney World Resort features treehouse living at its finest. Located at , the treehouse villas are a cherished tradition dating back to 1975.
Closed in 2002, the 60 newly remodeled three-bedroom villas reopened this summer. Designed to blend in with the surrounding forest glen, the villas are elevated 10 feet off the ground on pedestals and beams.
The villas will accomodate up to 9 guests and provides ammenities of full kitchens and laundry facilities. Even though the villas are elevated, there are wheelchair accessible units available.
The Disney Vacation Club is a vacation ownership option for guests at many Disney Resorts. While benefits exist for club members, nonmembers may also stay at the Vacation Club properties.
