Beacon Hill Quaint

Located just  behind the Massachusetts State House, Beacon Hill is one of Boston’s most exclusive and expensive neighborhoods . A walk through Beacon Hill is a delight- you’ll find  ivy-covered red brick town homes , cobblestone streets, and perpetually burning gas-lit lanterns. Beacon_Hill_Street-7327 Visit charming Louisburg Square (between Mt. Vernon and Pinckney Sts.) which is bordered by elegant Greek Revival homes facing a grassy oval park. Only residents get keys to the park, but anyone can take a promenade around it. Many visitors come just to Beacon Hill just to see  narrow, cobble-stoned Acorn Street, which may be Boston’s most photographed spot.  And nearly every visitor to Boston wants to see the bar “where everyone knows your name.” Cheers, Beacon Hill (84 Beacon St., 617-227-9605) (Map) formerly known as the Bull and Finch Pub, was the inspiration for the popular 80′s sitcom. Visitors of a” certain age” will recognize the bar immediately- the exterior shots for the opening of the show  were actually  filmed here.
