The Annapolis Boat Shows – Power or Sail?
Celebrating it’s 40th year, the oldest and largest, new, in-water sailboat show in the country, the , is followed one week later by the , both in the water in Annapolis, Maryland next month.

With over six hundred marine exhibitors coming to the Washington, DC area to display the latest in power boats and sailboats, luxury yachts, and all kind of nautical technology and gear; even if your budget can’t afford a pleasure craft, it’s a fun time for the entire family.

- Thursday – Oct. 8 – V.I.P. tickets only – 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Friday & Saturday - October 9 – 11, 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
- Sunday – October 12, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

United States Powerboat Show – October 15-18, 2009
- Thursday – October 15 – V.I.P. tickets only – 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Friday & Saturday - October 16-17, 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
- Sunday – October 18, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Tickets – Adult – $17.00, Children – $8.00, Two-day pass – $29.00. Thursday VIP tickets – $35.00 – all ages. and are available online or at the gate.
Strollers and bikes are strongly discouraged. No pets.
Nearest Subway Station – Largo Town Center - Blue line, then a 30-minute cab ride.
Parking – Parking in downtown Annapolis will be challenging. $10.00 parking is available at the nearby Navy-Marine Corp Memorial Stadium. Free shuttle busses to the dock will run continuously from 9:00 a.m. until one hour after the show closes.
