Conan O’Brien Head Injury
Conan O’Brien, who recently took the helm at the long-runningĀ “The Tonight Show,” hit his head during a stunt while taping what-was-to-be last night’s broadcast. Viewers expecting to see Teri Hatcher and Seth MacFarlane instead were shown a repeat with guest Jeremy Piven. Posters on the show’s online community forum expressed disappointment at Hatcher’s absence, while some voiced actual concern for the 46-year-old talk-show host.
Meanwhile, little is being said about O’Brien’s condition. He was taken to the hospital, but mum is the word as to if he is still bedridden or coming back to work next week.
Conan, by all reports, is apparently joking about the matter. According to an NBC press release, the talk show joked: “Last thing I remember I was enjoying the play with Mrs. Lincoln and the next thing I was in bed being served cookies and juice.”
