It happens
Well, it seems that we in Russia have the first fatal case caused by swine flu. The death happened still in late August, but just recentlyit’s come into the open that it might be linked with this illness.
But there are many doubts that the fatal case was purely of swine flu. Those inlovled in the matter say that the person affected had a vety serious pathology that was the main reason to kick the bucket. Swine flu has just conributed to the unhappily ended matter.
What is most interesting for you about it is that there are additional restrictions for all arriving in Russia. All the measures taken in the summer are remaining the same. As well, I don’t see any people with protective masks in the streets and something like that. My colleagues from the media covered the news worlwide, but it does not mean that there is some panic in the country. All is OK

I really dont understand Swine Flu. At first people reacted like crazy but now nobody seems to care.
Actually, there are many variants of H1N1 – and viruses have been around longer than our race. Swine flu is not bad. Check out the following disease mortality rates as put together by the excellent blog Information is Beautiful (no affiliation)
As you can see, the seasonal flu is about 20 times more likely to kill a person.
