3 Free Concerts: La Mercè 2009
Slotted at the end of this huge festival are three bands to please those into Indie. Catpeople, a local band from Barcelona, kick off this concert at Forum on the 26th of September 09.
Music and La Mercè
After Catpeople, the Dirty Projectors from the United States take the stage, led by Dave Longstreth. Finally, We Are Standard, a Basque group from Bilbao finishes off this show.
Like all the concerts connected with La Mercè, this concert is free. It’s a good idea to come early to get a good seat and bring lots of patience with you. Put on by BAM and MTV, this promises to be one of the more popular concerts in La Mercé line up.
