$2.50 Bar Menu at Solymar

Last week, as I was visiting some local restaurants I stopped by Solymar in Miami. Located in the old Prime Blue Grille location, this restaurant is gorgeous and offers a spectacular view. Bringing together the flavors of the Caribbean, Latin America and the US, I am sure they will have some great flavor combinations on their menu. Unfortunately their website isn’t up yet, but I was able to grab a bar menu and wow, it looks amazing, or maybe I’m just drawn to the $2.50 price point.

Before, if you asked me about a good happy hour, I’d probably recommend The Grill on the Alley or even The Tides with their around the clock drink specials, but Solymar offers a $2.50 bar menu from 4:00 -7:00 pm Monday – Friday and cocktails are half off. If this menu is as good as it sounds, we are in for a treat.

Since I can’t find the menu online, I’ll share it with you and if you’ve experienced it yourself, let us know how it is.

$2.50 Happy Hour Menu

• Chicken Skewers with coconut curry sauce with tamarind glaze
• Turks & Caicos Conch Fritters with a hearts of palm salad and a spicy pink sauce
• Peruvian Ceviche with shrimp, corn, fresh lime, sweet potato, amarillo chilis and corn tostadas
• Goat Cheese Queso Fundido with chorizo, caramelized onions, goat and cream cheese, jalapeno, cilantro and oven roasted tomato
• Grilled Pizza de Carne with Serrano ham, chorizo, pancetta, arugula and herbed ricotta cheese
• Bowl of shoestring fries
• Individual Sliders – choose from the Lump Crab & Fish Slider, the Cubano Slider or the Beef Slider
