Transport from Auckland Airport

Wherever you need to go in Auckland, whether its into the city, out East or West there are plenty of options at Auckland Airport to get you where you need to go and to cater to all budgets.

Regular bus services connect the airport to the city and other centres – for timetable information contact MAXX +64 9 366 6400 or www.maxx.co.nz.

A regular 15 minute Airbus Express service is available for travellers from the airport to the CDB and the city’s waterfront Downtown ferry terminal – simply buy your tickets on board, they are approximately NZD$12 each way and you can’t miss the bright blue buses!

The buses also travel to Manukau, Botany/Pakuranga and the Northshore, check out their website for further info.

There are a number of taxi and shuttle companies which Auckland Airport license to transport travellers from the airport, any taxi company can deliver you to the airport but only certain ones can pick you up. You will find the stands outside the arrivals area (door 8) at the international terminal and outside the luggage collection area (door 4) at domestic.

Fares are approximately NZD$60 – $NZD80 to the city for taxis and NZD$30 – NZD$40 per person for a shuttle.

So you will be well catered for to get from the airport to start your holiday in Auckland – if you have any queries or can’t locate what you need then just ask at one of the Visitor Information kiosks.

Happy Travels!
