The Jersey Boys Invade Washington, DC
Probably the most popular American singing group until the British Invasion brought The Beatles to America, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, launched into rock & roll history with their first number-one million selling hit “Sherry” in 1962.

The Four Seasons went on to record a series of pop music hits that sold 175 million records worldwide spanning several decades. Classics such as “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like a Man,” “Dawn (Go Away),” “My Eyes Adored You,” “Let’s Hang On!,” “Working My Way Back to You,” and “Can’t Take My Eyes off You”, are just a few Four Seasons classics.
Valli, with his trademark falsetto voice with a 3-octave range, paired with the doo-wop harmonies of The Four Season were able to release over 50 albums spanning the group’s 45-plus year performing history, that continues today.
Jersey Boys is the story based on how four blue-collar boys from New Jersey went from humble wrong-side-of-the–tracks beginnings into rock and roll icons.
The play has been a massive Broadway hit since 2005, winning Tony awards, plus a Grammy for the Best Show Album. With 30+ songs, it’s part concert, part play.
Jersey Boys will be making a 2½ month run at the National Theater starting on October 1st.
