Classes in Barcelona. Practice a Language, Learn to Cook
This is really for folks who will be staying in the city for a couple months or who live here. Taking classes at the city’s community centers is a smart way to practice your Spanish or Catalan and learn something interesting at the same time. I am all about killing two birds with one stone, and the classes at La Casa Elizalde give me that chance.
Want to learn to cook Japanese food? They’ve got it on Fridays at 5pm. How about a painting class? They’ve got that, too. The classes begin this week (though late comers could probably sneak in) and go until Christmas time. Depending on the class prices range from €60 to €30 for the whole course. That’s quite a deal! This is also a great way to expand your horizons and meet some new people in a city that, at times, is not particularly friendly.
