The Polynesian Cultural Center’s new show
The long running “Horizons” show at the Polynesian Cultural Center has just been replaced by a new evening show called “Ha: Breath of Life.” Using new animation, surround-sound, digital lighting, staging effects, costumes, choreography, music, renovated backstage facilities and a cast of more than 100, “Ha” follows the story of a young couple expecting their first child.
When a volcano erupts, the family flees their home and survive a storm at sea. Then, each of the major Polynesian groups at the Cultural Center tells a portion of the story in its own way.
“Ha” was launched last month and has already received rave reviews regarding its Polynesian pageantry and dynamic night-show formula. The new show is presented at 7:30pm Monday through Saturday. There are a variety of ticket packages you can purchase.
