KOOZA Run in Denver Has Been Extended

Due to overwhelming demand Cirque du Soleil announced that additional performances will be added to the KOOZA show schedule in Denver. KOOZA will perform until October 4 under the trademark blue-and-yellow Grand Chapiteau (big top) at the Pepsi Center Grounds.

I had the honor of seeing the show on opening night in August and I loved it! I can see why there would be a demand for more shows.

Here’s a little bit more about the show:

The Name
The name KOOZA is inspired by the Sanskrit word “koza,” which means “box,” “chest” or “treasure,” and was chosen because one of the underlying concepts of the production is the idea of a “circus in a box.”

About KOOZA
KOOZA is a return to the origins of Cirque du Soleil that combines two circus traditions; acrobatic performance and the art of clowning. The show highlights the physical demands of human performance in all its splendor and fragility, presented in a colorful mélange that emphasizes bold slapstick humor.

KOOZA Performance Schedule in Denver:
• Tuesdays thru Thursdays at 8:00 p.m.
• Fridays and Saturdays at 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
• Sundays at 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
No performances on Mondays.

Non-Peak Ticket Prices (Weekdays except Friday evening)
• Adults: $55 to $125
• Children (ages 2-12): $38.50 to $87.50
• Students, Seniors and Military: $49.50 to $112.50

Peak Ticket Prices (Weekends incl. Friday evening)
• Adults: $60 to $130
• Children (ages 2-12): $42 to $91

VIP Tapis Rouge Experience
A VIP Tapis Rouge (red carpet) package includes one of the best seats in the house, as well as access to the VIP suite one hour before the show and during intermission. The adult package is available for $215 and the children’s package for $150.50 (ages 2-12). Prices include taxes.
