Is Dutch Greek to You?

You need not learn Dutch when you visit Amsterdam, (almost) everyone speaks English. Many signs, menus and instructions are both in English and Dutch. The same goes for Dutch websites. They usually have an English version, and often a German version as well.

However, occasionally websites are only in Dutch. This is no longer a problem because you can translate the Dutch text into English by using your Google Toolbar.

Make sure you have the latest version. Go to Settings > Options and click on Translate Menu. When on the Dutch language webpage you want to translate into English all you have to do is select from the dropdown menu Translate Page into English and Google does the magic trick.

The translation is far from perfect, but you will get the gist of what is being said.
