Crank up the Noise at Decibel Fest
Crank up those decibels for the 6th annual Decibel Festival, a non-profit, four-day annual music and arts festival. With an official title of Decibel International Festival of Electronic Music Performance, Visual Art and New Media, it can easily get lost in a sea of Seattle’s other music festivals. But Decibel is a stand out for its merging of technology and cutting-edge electronic music.
With performances from a diverse selection of international artists, Decibel is a great forum for musicians, industry professionals, and educators. There is a professional section with panels and workshops, in addition to the more general focused presentations. The festival includes workshops, panels, film screenings, concerts, and other live performances making it a wonderful way to spend a very long weekend.
Central to the festival are the various performances around the city. Venues include: Seattle Art Museum, The Chapel Bar, Neumo’s, Sole Repair, Motor, Little Red Studio, Church of Bass, Electronic Tea Garden, Islander Cruises, Chop Suey, Volunteer Park, Seattle Asian Art Museum, and the Triple Door.
Dates & Times: September 24-27th, 2009, use the online schedule to plan your activities.

Tickets: $75-150, for full access passes, individual events available for separate purchase. All tickets are available online through Brown Paper Tickets.
