Alexandria Festival of the Arts – Sept. 12 & 13
With six blocks of wall-to-wall art valued at over $15 million, the Alexandria Festival of the Arts on King Street in Old Town Alexandria.
It’s one of the nation’s largest and in my opinion, the most enjoyable annual art festival in the area.
With paintings, sculptures, photos, glass and metal pieces, jewelry. clothing and more for over 200 artists, prices range from just $20 to over $20,000.
Plus, you can meet the many artists and discuss their works and negotiate your best deal on the perfect piece of art for your home.
Grab lunch at one of the many Old Town restaurants or enjoy some street food while walking around.
