Nighttime at the San Diego Zoo Ends Soon!
The Nighttime Zoo at the San Diego Zoo [Map] and Wild Animal Park [Map] is ending on September 7th! If you haven’t checked out the zoo at night, definitely head on over before it ends.

Special shows, entertainment, and activities for all ages are just part of Nighttime Zoo – but the best part is seeing the animals in a different light. While some animals hunker in for the night, visitors can check out the nocturnal animals and roam the zoo grounds when it’s less crowded and not as hot!
The entrance closes at 8:00 but the zoo stays open until 9:00 each evening. Nighttime activities begin at 3:30 but most are scheduled between 5:00 and 8:00.
Check the zoo’s daily schedule for activities – which include animal encounters, live music, shows and events throughout the summer. Catch the Surfin’ Safari Bush Band or SOAR – A Symphony in Flight!
