Armchair Travel in Amsterdam’s Red Light District

When you think of Amsterdam what springs to mind?

Windmills, clogs, pot, sex, canals, coffeeshops, tulips, Red Light District?

It’s true Amsterdam is a mixture of vices and virtues that come together in the Red Light District, right in the centre of the oldest part of the city. Rub shoulders with locals and tourists. Come during the day or in the evening. Gawk at the window prostitutes and smoke a joint or just walk along the Oudezijds Achterburgwal, one of the many canals in Amsterdam.

Dangerous? No, you can bring your grandmother. She will certainly be amused.

Can’t come to Amsterdam? Lean back and watch this video instead.
