Free Film Fest! Gandules at CCCB – Something for Everyone
Most of the films at Gandules this summer are on music, although there are others such as Tulpan (2008)which I saw the other night, which have nothing to do with music and are being shown because they are just good movies.
The fest happens Tues through Thur at CCCB Museum’s outdoor cinema area. It’s a free event and there is a bar set up selling beer and sandwiches while supplies last. Here’s a tip: get there early and/or bring your own chair because seating is very limited and these freebies in the center are popular. Also, there is no ‘saving’ seats, and on my last visit to the outdoor cinema there were almost a few fights over chairs…yes, it’s that hot!
