Uniquely Cape Cod: The Hearth n’Kettle Restaurants

The Hearth n’Kettle is a small , family owned local chain of restaurants located throughout southeastern Massachusetts,  and a long-time local favorite for New England cuisine. The Hearth n’Kettle is one of those places where you always know what you are getting – a reasonably priced meal , efficiently served in a casual old-timey Cape Cod atmosphere.

The Hearth n’Kettle may be best known for its traditional , hearty breakfasts like summer berry French toast with raspberry butter but it is a comfortable choice for lunch and dinner too. You will find all the usual suspects here- clam chowder, scrod, and chicken pot pie. But you will also find  ”Cape Cod fresh”   offerings like organic chicken with a maple dijon glaze and  grilled organic salmon on a bed of spinach and tomatoes.

Dessert? Go for the Indian Pudding- a baked custard made with cornmeal and molasses for the total Yankee dinner experience.
