Element Denver Park Meadows Slated to Open This Fall

If there is one thing I enjoy about traveling, it is staying in a nice hotel. I plan on checking out several Denver area hotels and reviewing them here on The Denver Guide. If you have one you would like to recommend, please let me know.

I am sure you would agree, that there are some very nice places to stay in Denver, Colorado. There is one hotel you may not know about yet and I am very excited to give you all of the details. It is called Element Denver Park Meadows.

[Update: Element Denver Park Meadows will open on August 27th!]

The new hotel is slated to be ready sometime this fall and will be located on the outskirts of the city, nice and close to the Denver Tech Center and the area’s top “retail resort.”

Here is an example of the Element Lexington guest room. It is beautiful. All Element Hotels will be very similar in design, so this gives you a good idea of what one of the rooms will look like.

Element Hotels are inspired by Westin and outdoor living and are designed to promote a healthy, well-balanced green lifestyle. It is the first hotel brand to mandate that each property pursues LEED certification. All of the Element Hotels are new builds, ensuring that every aspect of the hotels will support green efforts – from how they’re built, the layout and design of the guest rooms and public spaces to guest programs and community relations.

Some of the amenities included are Westin Heavenly beds, spa-like bathrooms with oversize showers and rain shower heads, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a daily complimentary healthy breakfast, gourmet pantry options and more.

Element Hotels are environmentally responsible, without having to compromise the guest experience.

Element Denver Park Meadows is located in such a nice area. The Park Meadows retail center has160 of the finest retailers and restaurants in America. These top names include Crate & Barrel, Pottery Barn Kids, Sundance, Planet Funk, John Atencio, Janie and Jack, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, California Café, and The Cheesecake Factory as well as 12 eateries in the Dining Hall. Guests are also located very close to the light rail, which can whisk you right to downtown Denver.

Rates start at $119 per night, which I feel is excellent given everything they offer. Opening day of the hotel is August 27th.

For more details on the Element Hotel brand and what they offer, see below. I have also included a few more beautiful pictures of the Element Lexington for you to enjoy.

Lobby

The Element smart design philosophy is first revealed by the open, uninterrupted layout of the lobby. Guests are encouraged to multitask, intuitively using areas for work, relaxation and interaction. The furniture is modular and multifunctional, adapting to different uses throughout the day.

Outdoor Patio

The spacious outdoor patio provides a pleasing visual backdrop for the lobby. An outdoor fire pit and barbecue area create the perfect setting for guests to relax and unwind while sipping a glass of wine or draft microbrew beer during the hotels’ regular evening gatherings. Featuring café style seating and a bright open space, the outdoor patio is the ideal place to soak in the sun, steal away for a quiet bite al fresco or organize a group meal.

Guest Rooms

The smart design and clever use of space in Element guest rooms rejuvenate and energize guests for work or play. Guests are able to customize their rooms to meet their needs with multi-purpose, modular furniture, swiveling flat-screen televisions, large desks with open shelving and custom-designed closets. Rooms also offer a fully equipped kitchen with modern, ENERGY STAR-rated appliances and all the utensils necessary to prepare a gourmet meal. Highlights of the smart entertainment center include a 32-inch LCD television and a DVD player, and a “plug and play” docking center where guests can plug their personal electronic devices – laptop, MP3 player or digital camera. In the bathroom, open shelving and drawers built into the vanity provide guests with storage space for personal items. Guests rest soundly in the signature Heavenly® Bed, and wake up and recharge each morning in a sleek, spa-inspired shower.

Allowing guests to redeem free nights anytime, anywhere, SPG “ratchets up the stakes in the hotel loyalty-program game,” according to the Wall Street Journal. SPG has gained a significant competitive advantage by offering members the ability to redeem awards at more resorts, more luxury properties, more European hotels and more golf properties than any other hotel program.

Element opened its first two hotels in 2008 and expects to open several more this year in key markets such as Houston, Baltimore, Denver and Colorado. With 30 hotels in its current pipeline, Element plans to open 500 hotels in proven U.S. markets including urban centers, corporate business parks, airports, resorts and lifestyle centers, as well as in targeted international markets including the United Arab Emirates and Canada.

  • This looks like a great concept for a hotel, very open looking and after working this last few weeks to book hotels for our vacation this fall.. $115/night is a great rate. The pantry and breakfast options and the evening “mixer” look really great too.
