Thia Megia in Top 40 Acts of America’s Got Talent
Have you voted yet? Thia Megia, a Filipino-American teenager from California is one of the 40 talent acts on America’s Got Talent. I hope you saw her sparkling performance at tonight’s episode.
I think Thia is a really sweet and talented girl, and she deserves our support! I love her singing style, not too girly, not too mature. She doesn’t shout out her notes, but lets the natural power of her voice shine through.
It’s a tough field she’s competing against tonight. But there’s still time (one hour left!) to vote! Then tune in tomorrow to see the acts who made it through this first round of voting (Thia better be in that group!).

“She doesn’t shout out her notes”, by that you mean she is nothing like Charise Pempengco, right? Thia Megia is by far the better talent!!! She has control and very clear with her words when singing. Unlike Charise who clearly needs more singing lessons! You can hardly make out what Charise is singing when she isn’t yelling out her words!!
Thia is definitely more marketable and more adorable than Charise!! Go Thia, I hope you write your own songs soon and get signed to a big label!!!
Charice and Thia are quite different in style. Unfortunately, we won’t be seeing any more of Thia on AGT this season. She does have the pipes so I hope she still gets a contract somehow.
