Packages and Deals for August Travel (and Beyond) in the South

Looking for some extra incentive to travel in the South? Well, look no further than these deals.

• Various Baymont Inn & Suites properties are offering different travel packages. In Greensboro, N.C., you’ll find the “Summer Splash Package” that is good through September 1.  There’s also a Georgia Aquarium Adventure package offered through the Atlanta, Ga., property, good through December 30.
• It’s all about the family at the Gaylord Hotel properties. Whether you are visiting Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, Tenn., Gaylord Palms in Kissimmee, Fla., Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, or Gaylord National in Washington, D.C., everyone can count on having a great time.
• If you’re thinking about heading to Florida for a quick getaway, you might want to check out all of the deals in Palm Beach County. There are specials for Florida residents as well as different deals broken down by location, i.e. Boca Raton, Singer Island, Jupiter and others.
• Speaking of Palm Beach, The Chesterfield is offering a Palm Beach Getaway package that includes dinner and breakfast for two through December 15. The property has other packages as well.
• Loews Hotel is promoting their Cultural Getaways. For example, that the Loews Annapolis (Md.) is offering “Get to Know the Yard” package (good through December 30) that includes two tickets for a tour of the U.S. Naval Academy. At the Loews Vanderbilt (Nashville, Tenn.) Hotel, the “Music City Package” (good through December 30) includes two tickets to the Country Music Hall of Fame. There’s also a “Taste of the Big Easy” package at Loews New Orleans Hotel (good through December 29) and a “Drive & Stay” package with Loews Madison Hotel in Washington, D.C., good through December 30.
