I’m Going to Steamboat Springs, CO – Join Me As I Blog About the Trip!
My family and I are headed to Steamboat Springs, Colorado for a week in a few days. I am so excited about the trip for a number of reasons. For one, I have never been there and have heard some great things about the area. Two, I am looking forward to just getting away from the daily life here in Denver and seeing something new.
We are staying at a resort there and actually have no real plans. From the sounds of it, we could stay at the resort all week long and never leave. There are plenty of activities there to keep us busy- like 2 pools, tennis courts, spas, ping-pong, etc, etc, etc. Yeah, I may never want to leave!
But, it’s not like us to stay locked up at a resort and not experience the town. So, while I am there, I’ll share some of my trip with you – pictures, restaurant reviews, affordable family activities and more.
A trip to Steamboat Springs from Denver is a great weekend getaway. It’s about a 3 hour drive and although it’s a ski town, there is plenty there to keep us busy in the summer. If you’ve been to Steamboat, tell me what you think my family and I should do while we’re there!
