Don Chile Returns with Mexican Flair in the Gables

It might seem easy to pull off, but fine Mexican fare takes talent, time and practice. Luckily, as far southeast as the Miami area there are dining spots that have all the talent and ingredients. One that has made a comeback worth checking out is Don Chile’s, in the downtown area of Coral Gables.

The menu and its execution here are now overseen by by Chef Erubiel Gutierrez, from Campeche. The selection features such well-known favorites as fajitas, flautas, and carne asada — but also on hand to be savored and definitely tried some time are thes not so well-known traditional Mexican dishes like Torta Chilanga, Pato Castellano — which is a dish featuring duck — and the very interesting pickled oyster dish which is an excellent combination of pickled seafood and vegetables.
