Check Out the Berry Butler Event at Loews Coronado Bay Resort!

Did you know that July is National Berry Month? Well it is! And in celebration, the Loews Coronado Bay Resort [Map] is hosting an official Berry Butler courtesy of Driscoll’s, the nation’s leading provider of fresh berries.

The Berry Butler will be on premise every Friday and Saturday through August first, greeting guests with fresh berries; helping young guests whip up fresh smoothies; staging tastings, and providing guests with a memorable stay that’s both healthy and unique. Tastings and berry treats for guests of the resort will be free of charge, compliments of Driscoll’s berries.

“In today’s economic climate, value is the new luxury, so our goal is to pamper our guests with the finest service and amenities, yet still make those luxuries accessible,” says Ellen Burke Van Slyke, Creative Director of Food and Beverage, Loews Hotels. “The Berry Butler is a great value and a perfect way to demonstrate how a ‘healthy’ indulgence like berries can be part of an everyday ritual,” she continued.

Other scheduled events at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort will include demonstrations by Executive Chef Marc Ehrler, who is also a French Master Chef, and cocktail and mocktail courses conducted by the Loews Mixology Team. The beverages will incorporate Driscoll’s antioxidant-packed strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries.
