4th of July Celebrations
If you are still unsure where to go to see the fireworks and celebrate 4th of July, you have an array of celebrations to choose from around San Antonio.

Woodlawn Lake
The San Antonio Parks Foundation and City of San Antonio present the July 4th Celebration and H-E-B Fireworks at Woodlawn Lake Park. The park is located at 1103 Cincinnati. The festivities take place all day with music, games, food/beverage booths and more. You can BBQ, camp, play sports and enjoy many other activities. The celebration culminates with the fireworks over the lake at 9:00pm. Admission is free.
Six Flags Fiesta Texas
The Lights of Liberty fireworks extravaganza takes place at Six Flags Fiesta Texas on July 3 and July 4. There’s limited seating at Lone Star Lil’s Amphitheatre. Tickets are free to the celebration and available outside Studio Six. It’s an awesome 30-minute fireworks display beginning at 9:00pm that your whole family will enjoy after a day at the park.
Lackland Air Force Base
The 31st annual Star Spangled Festival begins at 2:00pm and ends at 9:30pm with a 20-minute fireworks show at Lackland Air Force Base. The days activities include arts & crafts fair, children’s carnival, musical entertainment, food and beverage booths and much more. Attendees must have a valid photo ID and proof of car insurance. No backpacks, coolers, video cameras, or pets are allowed on the event grounds. Free parking is available.
