Cameo Theatre in San Antonio
The Cameo Theatre was built in the 1940s and had a live stage for vaudeville and music acts, as well as a movie screen. Louis Armstrong, B.B. King and Fats Domino were among the early notable performers at the Cameo Theatre.

The Cameo Theatre currently is used for a variety of functions — live theatre, concerts, film and much more. You can also reserve the theatre for a private party or special event. The decor is Egyptian style with burgundy and red coloring throughout the theatre.

Cameo Theatre Productions:
Throughout the year, the Cameo Theatre hosts a variety of musicals, comedies, burlesque shows and other productions.
I Hate Hamlet, a comedy by Paul Rudnick, will run from July 25-August 23, 2009 on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm. Show tickets are $29.50 for adults, $25.00 for seniors and $15 for military/students.

I saw a productuion of I Hate Hamlet and it was so very enjoyable!! Definatley recommend it, iver if tyou don’t enjoy Shakespeare.
