Dance is something you can understand no matter what country you’re in or what language those around you are speaking. Like many visual arts, dance transcends those verbal barriers and hits right in the heart.

This July 2 through 5 consider checking out Caldera Express with dancers Arthur Rosenfeld and Ana Teixido. The piece is called Tango a la Bergman and explores life as lived as a couple from a dancer’s perspective. The show is inspired by Ingmar Bergman and tango, and promises to be full of surprises.

Set in Barcelona’s Gracia neighborhood, the show starts at 8pm and 7pm, meaning that afterward you’ll have time to dine at one of this zone’s many cool eateries or have a glass of wine and a tapa at D.O. Bar on Verdi Street. Did I also mention that Tango a la Bergman is free?…..
