Celebrate 4th of July in San Diego!

There are so many options for watching the Fourth of July fireworks in San Diego!!! The beaches will be crowded as everyone takes in the sun and sand for a day of relaxation and fireworks. Get there early if you want a spot.

Find the best location to watch the July 4th displays in your area:

San Diego’s “Big Bay Boom” fireworks (Embarcadero) [Map]
The biggest event in San Diego! Fireworks at 9:00 p.m. at the Port of San Diego. You get a whopping 16-1/2 minutes of displays and it will be televised on Fox 5 HD and Cox 4 HD. This is a very well attended display, so carpool and come early!

Fourth of July at Sea World [Map]
Celebrating the entire weekend, Sea World lights up the sky with its tower and a brilliant fireworks display.

Legoland’s Red, White and Boom [Map]
Take the family to Legoland for an Independence Day treat.

San Diego County Fair Fourth of July [Map]
Head over to the Del Mar Fairgrounds for rides and fun and stay for the fireworks display!

Cities:

Camp Pendleton [Map]
Del Mar Beach Fireworks at 9:00 p.m. The Beach Bash has activities all day with music, food and games. Live bands start at 12 p.m.

Coronado [Map]
Coronado launches their fireworks at 9 p.m. The day starts at 7am with things do for everyone. Hang out all day for the half-marathon, rough water swim, Art in the Park and live music in the park.

Escondido [Map]
Catch the fireworks in Escondido’s Grape Day Park.

La Jolla Cove [Map]
Fireworks start at 9 p.m. You can watch from Scripps Park, La Jolla Cove, and La Jolla Shores Beach.

Julian [Map]
Enjoy a small town parade nestled in San Diego’s apple country.

Lake Murray [Map]
Head out to Lake Murray for Music Fest! Fireworks start at 9:15 p.m. Three bands perform throughout the day: Pullman Standard: 12:00-1:00 p.m & 1:30- 2:30 p.m., The Surf City All Stars: 3:00 – 5:30 p.m., Rockola: 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Mira Mesa Recreation Center [Map]
Fireworks start at 9:00 p.m. Parade begins at noon including: food, rides, games and entertainment at Mira Mesa Community Park.

Ocean Beach Pier [Map]
Fireworks start at 9 p.m. Turn your radios to Radio SOPHIE 103.7 for a live simulcast.

Poway [Map]
At the Poway High School Stadium the fun starts at 7:00! Fireworks start at 9 p.m.

Rancho Bernardo [Map]
Fireworks at 9:00 p.m. The Annual Rancho Bernardo Spirit of the 4th Festival & Parade runs from 7:00 a.m.- 9:30 p.m.

San Marcos [Map]
At William R. Bradley Park. Fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

Vista [Map]
Visit Brengle Terrace Park for food, live entertainment and more!! Fireworks start at 9 p.m.
