20nine Restaurant and Wine Bar
20nine Restaurant and Wine Bar, named for Highway 29 that runs through wine country in Napa Valley, is a chic establishment located in San Antonio’s Quarry Market. 20nine offers nearly 300 wines, 60 of them by the glass.
The atmosphere is stylish with a beautiful chandelier made of wine glasses near the front entrance. Their wine selection is top notch and they serve delicious wine country cuisine to match.

The menu includes amazing crabcakes, pastas, homemade soup, salads and terrific flatbreads. Entrees feature chili crusted salmon, roasted duck and a variety of other delicacies. They offer both a lunch and dinner menu. Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11am to 3:30pm.
Inside 20nine is comfortable yet classy. You can also dine on their beautiful outdoor patio which is highlighted by a 12-foot fountain.
I have been to 20nine three or four times and on one occasion the waiter seemed so snobby that he acted like he were doing us a favor by serving us. The other times, the service was excellent. So I’m going to just assume the first waiter was having a bad day.
